Indiana Wesleyan’s Dayton Groninger drives against a Huntington defender in the Wildcats’ 56-52 Crossroads League win over the Foresters in Huntington on Wednesday.

HUNTINGTON – Though snowflakes flew outside, Wednesday night’s Crossroads League contest between No. 21 Indiana Wesleyan and RV Huntington was ablaze inside Platt Arena, as the game was a grind to the final minutes. When the final seconds ticked off the clock, the visiting Wildcats found a way to score a narrow 56–52 win over the host Foresters.

The victory improved Indiana Wesleyan’s record to 20–7, including an 11–4 mark in league play, while Huntington dropped to 19–8 overall with an 8–7 record against conference competition.
