Taylor sophomore Noah Ross, a 2019 Eastbrook graduate, collected his first collegiate victory on Saturday to lead the Trojan men’s golf team to a dominant victory in the Pilot Invitational in South Bend.

Ross shot 72 and rested in third place after the first round, two shots behind leader Nicolas Paviet of Roosevelt University. The Upland-native the fired a 70, the low round during the second day of action on the 7,041-yard, par-72 layout of Blackthorn Golf Club. He carded two birdies, two bogeys, and an eagle on the par-5, 7th hole en route to his victory.
