Guadalupe 'Wally' Bosquez June 19, 1971 - Nov. 26, 2019

Guadalupe “Wally” Bosquez, 48, Marion, passed away in his home on Tuesday, November 26, 2019, in San Antonio, Texas. He was born in Marion, Indiana, on Saturday, June 19, 1971, to Richard and Ermendina (Benevidez) Bosquez.

Wally attended Marion Community Schools and retired from RCA. He was a member of Hanfield United Methodist Church.

He was a Colts fan, liked to play pool, and enjoyed being with friends. He also loved his family dearly and always kept in touch with his nieces and nephews. Wally had a great sense of humor, was a very caring man, and will be missed by all who knew him. The greatest joy of his heart was being at family gatherings.

Survivors include his mother, Ermendina Bosquez; brothers, Richard Bosquez, Jr., of Marion and Ronald (Deborah) Bosquez of Marion; sisters, Anna Bosquez Arce of Marion, Cynthia McGriff of Marion, Esperanza (Martin Ortiz) Bosquez of Marion, Emilda (Felipe) Ortega of Marion, and Mariza (Robert Leitch) Bosquez of Fort Wayne; fianceé, Cheryl Denniston of Marion; best friend, Kevin Lomely of Marion; close nephew, Ryan (Annabelle) Bosquez of Dallas, TX; and step-sons, Michael, Santini, and Jordan Ortiz.

His father preceded him in death.

The family will receive visitors from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon on Saturday, December 21, 2019, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave., Marion, IN.

Immediately following the time of visitation, a service to celebrate Wally’s life will begin at 12:00 noon. Burial will take place at Grant Memorial Park.

Memorial contributions may be directed to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
