1 - Red Kettle Bell Ringer

Salvation Army volunteer B. Woodring rings a bell in front of the Big Lots entrance.

The morning the Salvation Army of Grant County kicked off its annual red kettle campaign, the organization administrator discovered that their food pantry building had been vandalized.

Lieutenant Michaela Lendt, the Corps Officer and administrator of The Salvation Army, said the backside of the Ben Meadows Memorial Food Pantry now adorns vulgar images and language which will need to be removed. Unfortunately, the organization has a strict budget, and Lendt said they will need to use funds which were designated to other areas of service.
