Fourteen customers received $14,000 worth of free water in Jonesboro, according to a State Board of Accounts (SBOA) Audit.

State auditors say the city of Jonesboro had a lack of internal controls which allowed a former utility clerk to not bill residents for more than $14,000 of water utility charges.
