By MATTHEW SHARP / msharp@chronicle-tribune.comKaterina Shantell was excited for the Marion Civic Theatre (MCT) to open Thursday evening, as the planned art gallery was the first time she has ever displayed her art in a gallery setting.
“I’m really excited and I’m really thankful that [Fusion Arts Alliance Program Director] Andrew [Daniels] has pestered me to the point of submission,” said Shantell. “Not that it was a complicated matter. I’m a procrastinator. Plus I love the theater, so for this to be my debut is super exciting.”
