The City of Marion’s Community Revitalization Enhancement District (CReED) board met last week to check in on its request for funding proposals.

The board has approximately $522,000 of funds available to be used for projects within the various CReED districts in the city and is actively seeking proposals for how to invest the money. The board specifically discussed a request from the Grant County Family YMCA for $100,000 of funding as part of an estimated $773,000 project to replace the Y’s indoor pool roof and HVAC system.
