Grant County Commissioners Monday approved an intention to move forward with an estimated $2.5 million project to upgrade the former Salin Bank building that currently houses central dispatch and the EMA department.

Terry Burnworth of Pyramid Architects previously presented the board with a two-tiered proposal for the project at 302 S. Washington St., consisting of exterior stabilization and interior rehabilitation.
