One of the City of Marion’s bills will be paid late after a disagreement between the city council and the mayor’s office about where the funds should come from.

The bill is $127,000 for the lease of heating and cooling equipment for City buildings. Since 2017, the money to pay this bill has come from the Economic Development Income Tax, or EDIT, Fund.
