Missing student ‘home and safe’

A Taylor University student who was reported missing last Thursday is home and safe, according to Jim Garringer, director of media relations for the university. Garringer said the family had contacted Taylor to let them know senior Luke Skawski had returned home. Skawski’s home is in Elmhurst, Illinois. No other information was released by the university.

Taylor officials had sent out an “urgent message” to faculty, staff and students Thursday seeking information about Skawski’s whereabouts and asking anyone with knowledge to contact Taylor police. The university said his name had been added to the national database for missing and endangered persons.
