Marion Police Department

1:02 a.m., Wednesday, 109 E. Swayzee St., harassment. A woman reported that her soon to be ex-husband has been making threats.

4:21 a.m., Wednesday, Third Street and Baldwin Avenue, traffic stop/warrant service. A man was arrested on a Miami County warrant.

4:07 p.m., Wednesday, 3901 S. Harrison St., fraud/scam. A woman reported that an unknown subject used her personal information to obtain a credit card.

9:26 p.m., Wednesday, 1216 W. Second St., battery. A man reported that a couple of unknown males yelled at him and hit him in the head and face, breaking one of his teeth.

Grant County Sheriff’s Department

9:48 a.m., Wednesday, 1076 S. 530 E., theft. A man reported a gun had gone missing from a relative’s house.

11:57 a.m., Wednesday, 5211 S. 600 E., fraud/scam. A man reported someone called him claiming to be the IRS and telling him to purchase a $1,200 Google Play card to resolve an issue of a vehicle in his name that had been found in Texas with cocaine and blood residue in it. He purchased the card and called them with the card number.

2:51 p.m., Wednesday, Grant County Jail, warrant service. An inmate was arrested on a warrant for battery resulting in moderate injury.

3:35 p.m., Wednesday, Grant County Sheriff’s Department, harassment. A man came to the department to report that his ex-wife has been calling Department of Child Services and making false claims against them to try to get custody of their daughter.

11:30 p.m., Wednesday, 6800 Ind. 18 East, traffic stop. A 12-year-old male was stopped in the area for driving more than 106 miles per hour. The juvenile was cited into court and handed over to his parents.

Billy Joe Bodkins, 57, last known address 1001 W. Ninth St., Jonesboro, invasion of privacy. He was being held in the Grant County Jail without bond.
