Marion Babe Ruth baseball registration

Marion Babe Ruth Baseball will be holding registrations on Feb. 13, Feb. 21 and Feb. 28 from  5 p.m. to  8 p.m. inside Marion High School gate No. 14 (next to baseball field).

All players must come and fill out a registration form even if they played last year. Cost is $75 per player with $60 for each additional sibling. Raffle tickets are also available to sell to help offset the cost.

Leagues being formed for play at Lincoln Field are: Cal Ripken Coaches Pitch, Cal Ripken 9-10 year old, Cal Ripken 11-12 year old, Babe Ruth 13-15 year old as well as Girls Fastpitch Softball, Babe Ruth 9-12 year old and Babe Ruth 13-15 year old.

Marion Babe Ruth Baseball is also looking for coaches and umpires.

PAL Club baseball/softball signups

The Marion PAL Club currently is taking applications for its upcoming baseball/softball/tee-ball leagues through March 25.

Note that the cost is $80 and the leagues are for boys ages four through nine and girls ages four through 14.

Applicants must submit their name, phone number, birth date and shirt size, and may be asked to participate in a ticket raffle fundraiser.

Oak Hill football chicken noodle dinner 

The Oak Hill football program will host a chicken and noodle dinner in the OHHS cafeteria on Friday, Feb. 15 from 5 to 7 p.m. prior to the senior night and boys basketball game against Elwood.

Advanced tickets can be purchased for $6 per adult or $3 for children. At the door tickets will cost $7 per adult and $4 for children.

Taylor men’s soccer ID camp

The Taylor men’s soccer program will host an ID Camp on Saturday, March 2 at Wheeler Field. The camp is open to boys in grades 9-12 and will run from 1 p.m. through 5 p.m. The one-day camp will cost $89 per participant.

Campers will have the opportunity to train with current members of the Taylor men’s soccer program, while receiving technical training from the coaching staff. All campers will receive a camp t-shirt and parents will be able to attend a meeting with Coach Gary Ross to discuss the college recruiting process.

Camp Schedule: 1 p.m. – Registration, 1:30 p.m. – Technical Training, 2:30 p.m. – College Recruiting Session with Coach Ross, 3 p.m. – 8v8 and 11v11 Games, 5 p.m. – Departure.
