Marion Police Department

7:04 a.m., Wednesday, 1509 S. Washington St., criminal mischief. A man reported his window broken out.

10:40 a.m., Wednesday, Genesis Place, 104 E. 14th St., theft. An unknown suspect stole meat and a security camera.

12:10 p.m., Wednesday, 301 S. Branson St., fraud/scam. A woman received a call about winning money and gave her identification number to the caller.

12:34 p.m., Wednesday, 1612 W. 10th St., fraud/scam. A woman reported receiving a fraudulent call.

1:39 p.m., Wednesday, 5015 Prestwick Square Drive, vehicle theft. A man reported his 2005 silver Mercury taken. It was later found in the 1000 block of West 17th Street.

5:25 p.m., Wednesday, 10th Street and Branson Street, found property. A BB gun was found wrapped in a plastic bag.

Grant County Sheriff’s Department

1:12 a.m., Wednesday, 2801 S. Stone Road, Lot 257, recovered/found property. A stolen vehicle out of Hendricks County was found parked in an empty lot. A man who was interviewed while trying to find the driver of the vehicle was arrested on a Marion County warrant for possession of a synthetic drug, auto theft and possession of paraphernalia.

2:44 a.m., Wednesday, 39th Street and Landess Street, traffic stop. During a traffic stop a woman was arrested for operating while intoxicated and left of center.

6:06 a.m., Wednesday, 202 S. Penn St., Fairmount, disturbance. A man and woman were in a verbal argument. The man was arrested and charged with unlawful possession of syringe, possession of methamphetamine, and possession of paraphernalia. Charges have been filed against the woman for unlawful possession of a syringe.

11:06 a.m., Wednesday, Grant County Jail, warrant service. A man was taken from the detention center to the jail and arrested on a warrant for parole violation.

5:23 p.m., Wednesday, 150 W. Eighth St., Fairmount, intoxicated driver. A man reported a vehicle was driving all over the roadway. The driver was arrested and charged with operating while intoxicated.

7:01 p.m., Wednesday, 11800 S. 450 E., suicide threatened. A woman reported someone threatened to commit suicide in a text message. The person was taken to MGH.

8:17 p.m., Wednesday, Grant County Sheriff’s Department, warrant service. A man turned himself in and was arrested on a warrant for probation violation.

Brandon Curtis Miller, 32, last known address 500 S. Third St., Gas City, unlawful possession of a syringe, possession of methamphetamine. He was being held in the Grant County Jail on a $605 bond.

Adam Rodriguez, 36, last known address 2305 S. Brownlee St., Marion, parole violation. He was being held in the Grant County Jail without bond.

Nathan Robert Strasser, 36, last known address 609 E. South B St., Gas City, pretrial release violation, failure to appear. He was being held in the Grant County Jail on a $3,105 bond.

Angela Michelle Thomas, 37, last known address 421 N. Sycamore St., Fairmount, operating with a BAC of .15 percent or above. She was being held in the Grant County Jail on a $505 bond.

Jeremy Allen Weller, 37, last known address 816 E. Sherman St., Marion, violation of probation. He was being held in the Grant County Jail on a $5,005 bond.

Brandie Marie Ferren, 26, last known address 552 E. Swayzee St., Marion, driving while suspended, failure to identify. She was released from the Grant County Jail on a $205 bond.
