Marion Police Department

3:07 a.m., Thursday, 30th Street and Home Avenue, traffic stop. A man was arrested on charges of habitual traffic violator, refusal to identify and possession of marijuana.

10:26 a.m., Thursday, 2009 W. Kem Road, fraud. A woman received suspicious calls from an alleged lawyer and investigator.

11:51 a.m., Thursday, Ninth Street and Adams Street, traffic stop. A man was arrested for invasion of privacy.

1:18 p.m., Thursday, 701 N. Washington St., suspicious activity. A man was arrested on charges of possession of a legend drug, possession of paraphernalia and possession of a syringe.

3:16 p.m., Thursday, 1810 W. Nelson St., burglary. A woman reported her house broken into.

10:31 p.m., Thursday, 38th Street and Adams Street, traffic stop. A woman was arrested on a charge of possession of paraphernalia and a man was arrested on a charge of possession of methamphetamine.

10:43 p.m., Thursday, 2509 S. Boots St., burglary. A woman reported her house broken into.

Grant County Sheriff’s Department

5:14 a.m., Thursday, Ind. 15, accident with animal. Scott Campbell reported hitting a deer on Ind. 15 in the area of Delmar Addition.

9:29 a.m., Thursday, 4100 block of South Miller Avenue, domestic disturbance. Someone reported a male and a female were arguing in a red truck in the area. The truck was not located but a man was found walking in the area and he was found to have two outstanding warrants. He was arrested and transported to the jail.

3:19 p.m., Thursday, 1902 S. Joann Drive, suspicious vehicle. A man reported that a red 90’s model S10 extended cab truck was in the area and his garage had been broken into previously.

4:26 p.m., Thursday, 940 E. 38th St., unauthorized control of vehicle. A man reported that a woman had taken his vehicle the previous evening to go to McDonald’s and never returned.

5:10 p.m., Thursday, 210 N. Jefferson St., Converse, fraud report. A man reported his debit card had a charge on it from BJ Wholesale in Brooklyn, New York for $294.12. He advised that he had not made a purchase at that location.

6:18 p.m., Thursday, 216 N. College, Converse, criminal mischief. A woman reported that a tire on her son’s vehicle had been cut. She said this is the second time this has occurred at this residence.

7:51 p.m., Thursday, 5101 S. Adams St., accident with injury. A 17-year-old male rear-ended Andrea Jones causing minor injury.

8:24 p.m., Thursday, no-injury accident. Mahnaz Saeedi, of Noblesville, struck a semi driven by Gerardo Castillon. No one was injured.

8:25 p.m., Thursday, 5921 S. Lincoln Blvd., disturbance. A woman reported a verbal argument with her step-brother over a cell phone charged. The step-brother left for the evening.

8:55 p.m., Thursday, 2225 W. 13th St., car fire. A man reported that his car caught on fire after he started it for the first time in several days. He advised he turned the car off and then his neighbor came over to let him know the car was on fire.

10:45 p.m., Thursday, Grant County Jail, warrant service. A woman turned herself in at the Grant County Jail on a probation violation warrant.

Kayla Sue Freital, 30, last known address 4343 Lincoln Blvd., Lot 221, Marion, violation of probation. She was being held in the Grant County Jail on a $2,505 bond.

Patrick Eugene Gaddis, 60, last known address 3422 S. Nebraska St., Marion, invasion of privacy. He was released from the Grant County Jail on a $405 bond.

Jose Ayala Torres, 43, last known address 4106 Wooddonor Drive, Marion, driving while suspended. He was released from the Grant County Jail on a $1,010 bond.

Seth Alan Diskey, 26, last known address homeless, Marion, failure to identify, possession of marijuana, possession of cocaine, fugitive from justice, violation of probation. He was being held in the Grant County Jail on a $3,110 bond.

Brook Leann Jupin, 42, last known address 101 E. Washington St., Bluffton, possession of paraphernalia. She was being held in the Grant County Jail on a $405 bond.

Paul Ray Jupin, 51, last known address 333 Maple Grove, Apt. 323, Brandenburg, Kentucky, possession of methamphetamine. He was being held in the Grant County Jail on a $1,805 bond.

Darol Leon Sorah, 30, last known address 1005 E. 30th St., Marion, possession of a firearm by a serious violent felon. He was being held in the Grant County Jail on a $1,005 bond.
