Marion Police Department

5:59 a.m., Wednesday, 2527 S. Waite St., burglary. A man reported seven firearms were taken.

8:50 a.m., Wednesday, 3717 S. Houck, criminal mischief. A woman reported her driver's side window and windshield were broken.

9:13 a.m., Wednesday, 906 W. Kem Road, fraud/scam. A woman reported fraudulent activity on her account.

10:45 a.m., Wednesday, 1410 S. Western Ave., theft. Police took a report of an employee stealing money from the register at Wendy's.

1:24 p.m., Wednesday, 1416 S. Washington St., investigation. A man kicked in the door to a property he owns.

Grant County Sheriff's Department

1:59 a.m., Wednesday, 38th Street and Riverside, traffic stop. During a traffic stop one of the two occupants of the vehicle gave a false name and when her identity was discovered the officer found that the two occupants had an active protective order. The woman was arrested on a charge of false informing and the man was arrested on a charge of invasion of privacy.

4:29 a.m., Wednesday, 1050 S. Wheeling Pike, accident. A vehicle was found rolled over. It appeared someone had left the vehicle through a window. All attempts to make contact with the registered owner, Angela Mengdoht, were unsuccessful.

6:25 a.m., Wednesday, 1100 S. 700 E., accident. Ian McFarland hit a trash truck driven by Paul Evers. No one was injured.

10:47 a.m., Wednesday, Grant County Sheriff's Department, fraud/scam. A woman came to the department to report fraud.

10:57 a.m., Wednesday, Ind. 9 and Glendale, accident. Jarrett Richards hit a car driven by Kelsey Conrad with his plow. No injuries were reported.

11:48 a.m., Wednesday, Grant County Jail, warrant service. Inmate Lacie Scott was read a warrant for probation violation.

11:49 a.m., Wednesday, 501 S. Adams St., theft. A woman reported she asked another woman to watch her bag which had knives in it. She stated the woman took the bag; however, it was returned to her and it appears to have been a misunderstanding. The case has been suspended.

1:31 p.m., Wednesday, 10th Street and Massachusetts, Matthews, accident. A property-damage only accident occurred at the intersection.

2:28 p.m., Wednesday, Grant County Jail, warrant service. Inmate Tyler McCall was read a warrant for probation violation.

2:45 p.m., Wednesday, Gas City Court, warrant service. While in Gas City Court a man was placed under arrest by Fairmount police on a warrant for intimidation.

4:11 p.m., Wednesday, 203 S. Washington St., Swayzee, harassment. Two women reported a man was at Chuckwagon restaurant looking in windows and yelling. The man is the ex-boyfriend of one of the women. He was issued a criminal trespass for being at Chuckwagon and also for the woman's home.

4:20 p.m., Wednesday, Grant County Jail, warrant service. Inmate Tieshawn Broomfield-Gee was read a warrant for re-entry court violation.

6:11 p.m., Wednesday, Ind. 13 and 400 South, immediate detention order. A man was making suicidal threats. A traffic stop was done and the man was detained on an immediate detention order and taken to Cornerstone.

6:33 p.m., Wednesday, 3259 E. Charles Road, burglary. A man reported his home was burglarized. It appears entry was made through a basement window. Missing from the home is a Colt double edge 10 mm handgun, some cash and medication.

Tony Lamont Gipson, 50, last known address 216 East St., Apt. A, Marion, disorderly conduct, intimidation.

Randy Lewis Phifer Jr., 20, last known address 2640 S. 1200 E., Upland, false informing. He was being held in the Grant County Jail on a $605 bond.

Cully J. Voland, 48, last known address 211 W. Eighth St., Jonesboro, intimidation. He was being held in the Grant County Jail on a $400 bond.

Lateef Leon Johnson, 38, last known address 2805 S. Lincoln Blvd., Marion, possession of marijuana, failure to identify, habitual traffic violator. He was being held in the Grant County Jail on a $1,005 bond.
