12:18 a.m., Saturday, 1200 S. Hendricks Ave., Apt. 42, overdose. A woman overdosed on heroin and was taken to MGH.

2:22 a.m., Saturday, 208 ½ N. Adams St., unwanted guest/intoxicated person. A 42-year-old man was arrested for criminal trespass and public intoxication.

2:56 a.m., Saturday, 509 E. Bradford St., shots fired. A man reported shots were fired in the area. Two shell casings were located on the west side of the building.

6:11 a.m., Saturday, 441 N. Wabash Ave., investigation. A woman reported that her husband physically and verbally abused her and her children.

7:46 a.m., Saturday, 624 S. Boots St., Apt. 1, welfare check. A man was limping and yelling for help. He was taken to MGH for injury to his left ankle.

10:05 a.m., Saturday, 1046 N. Baldwin Ave., burglary. An unknown subject broke into El Taco Express and took the cash register.

10:40 a.m., Saturday, 318 E. Swayzee St., theft. A woman reported that an unknown subject stole her gold necklace and earrings. A man reported that an unknown subject stole his cash. Another woman reported that an unknown subject stole her medication.

11:13 a.m., Saturday, 1509 S. Western Ave., fraud/scam. A subject attempted to pay for items with a counterfeit $100 bill.

1:23 p.m., Saturday, 1648 W. Spring Drive, battery. A man was arrested for battery and strangulation.

1:56 p.m., Saturday, 1921 W. 10th St., threats of harm/battery. A woman reported that her ex-boyfriend inappropriately touches her when they exchange their children.

3:36 p.m., Saturday, 702 S. Washington St., theft. A juvenile was arrested for stealing headphones from the Circle K.

3:58 p.m., Saturday, 1203 W. Delphi Ave., mysterious disappearance. A woman reported she left her purse in the cart at Mission Mart. When she returned to the store later she could not locate it.

5:14 p.m., Saturday, 206 Palo Verde Court, battery. A man was destroying property and fighting with staff.

7:31 p.m., Saturday, 1323 N. Baldwin Ave., theft. A woman reported that an unknown male stole her wallet while she was sitting in the pharmacy.

8:17 p.m., Saturday, 1605 S. Gallatin St., shots fired. An unknown subject shot multiple times into the residence.

9:06 p.m., Saturday, 2118 W. Second St., theft. A woman reported that an unknown subject stole her wallet while she was sitting in the club.

1:05 a.m., Sunday, 1722 S. Boots St., criminal mischief. A woman reported that an unknown subject broke a window on the south side of her residence.

2:48 a.m., Sunday, 402 W. 27th St., shots fired/criminal recklessness with a firearm. A man was arrested for carrying a handgun without a permit, possession of a firearm by a serious violent felon, criminal recklessness while armed with a deadly weapon, theft of a firearm and resisting law enforcement.

7:44 a.m., Sunday, 1211 W. 14th St., burglary. An unknown subject entered the business through the broken glass door and stole a small amount of change.

1:51 p.m., Sunday, 26th Street and Nebraska Street, traffic stop/narcotics. A man was arrested for theft and unlawful possession of a syringe.

3:07 p.m., Sunday, 1306 E. Bradford St., fraud/scam. A woman reported that an unknown subject stole her debit card and made several unauthorized charges.

12:09 a.m., Monday, 1455 N. Baldwin Ave., burglary. An unknown subject entered the building through a window and stole cash from a lock box.

1:07 a.m., Monday, 3820 S. Western Ave., theft. An unknown female concealed several items in a bag and left the store without paying for them.

1:17 a.m., Monday, 3643 S. Prince Hall Drive, traffic stop/accident leaving the scene. After a brief vehicle pursuit, the male driver wrecked the vehicle and fled the scene.

6:54 a.m., Monday, 2305 S. Gallatin St., disturbance/domestic battery. A man reported that his wife keeps coming to his residence accusing him of cheating. He stated she broke a window and she stated he hit her with a broom.

9:03 a.m., Monday, 3602 S. Adams St., warrant service. A woman was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear.

9:22 a.m., Monday, 620 ½ E. 26th St., theft. A man reported that an unknown subject broke the driver’s side window on his vehicle and stole his wallet.

10:10 a.m., Monday, 1418 W. Marion Ave., fraud/scam. A man reported that someone hacked his email and accessed his Walmart, Amazon and bank accounts.

10:42 a.m., Monday, 3812 S. Western Ave., domestic battery. A woman was arrested for domestic battery.

2:21 p.m., Monday, 4038 S. Western Ave., theft. An unknown white male stole a pair of shoes from the store.

2:23 p.m., Monday, 1310 W. Marion Ave., theft. A woman reported that an unknown subject stole the license plate off her car.

3:42 p.m., Monday, 2017 S. Western Ave., theft. An unknown subject stole a pair of magnified dental glasses, a pair of Nike shoes and a lock box containing cash.

5:51 p.m., Monday, 4921 S. Western Ave., warrant service. Mark Greer, 49, was arrested on six Grant County warrants.

7:10 p.m., Monday, 2924 S. Adams St., theft. A woman reported that an unknown subject stole her MacBook laptop, drivers license, social security card and work pay card from her vehicle.

Grant County Sheriff’s Department

12:18 a.m., Saturday, I-69 264, traffic stop. A 911 call was taken in reference to a vehicle with flashers on all over the roadway. The driver was arrested for operating while intoxicated and taken to the jail.

11:52 a.m., Saturday, Grant County Jail, warrant service. Jordan Zirkle was arrested at the jail on a probation violation warrant for the original charge of possession of paraphernalia.

4:05 p.m., Saturday, 38th Street and Miller Avenue, traffic stop. A vehicle was stopped for driving at speeds of 93 mph in a 35 mph zone. The driver told police his clutch was messed up and he was trying to get home as soon as he could. He was issued a citation for speeding.

4:08 p.m., Saturday, Washington Street and Walnut, Fairmount, accident with injury. A two vehicle accident occurred in the area. The drivers were a 17-year-old female and Scott Nash.

7:49 p.m., Saturday, Grant County Jail, warrant service. An inmate was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear.

9:09 p.m., Saturday, 244 W. 50th St., accident with animal. A woman reported she struck a dog in front of 244 W. 50th St. There was heavy damage to the front end of the vehicle.

12:02 a.m., Sunday, Ind. 22 and 400 West, accident with injury. A single-vehicle crash in the area. The driver, Matthew Ricks, was airlifted from the scene.

2:44 a.m., Sunday, 404 N. First St., Converse, warrant service. Dustin Sulfridge was arrested on an attachment warrant.

3:36 a.m., Sunday, I-69 258, accident with no injury. Glen Ard told police he struck a divider on I-69.

1:17 p.m., Sunday, fraud/scam. A man reported his identity was stolen and used at a hospital in Florida.

5:06 p.m., Sunday, 5579 Ind. 9 North, accident with animal. A woman reported hitting a deer. The deer went in an unknown direction.

6:48 a.m., Sunday, 4300 Ind. 18 West, accident with animal. A woman hit a deer.

9:14 a.m., Sunday, 306 S. Washington St., Swayzee, theft. The Methodist church reported baby Jesus was stolen from the nativity scene, for the second year in a row.

9:48 a.m., Sunday, 401 W. Second St., Fairmount, theft. A man reported another man’s golf cart was stolen.

9:57 a.m., Sunday, warrant service. Joel McGee was arrested for parole violation.

4:34 p.m., Sunday, 1606 E. Williams St., intoxicated person. A case report was taken on a woman for driving while intoxicated with three children in the car.

6:37 p.m., Sunday, warrant service. An inmate was read a warrant for parole violation.
