A Grant County fast pitch softball reunion will be held on Oct. 21 in the Garden House at Matter Park.

Any former players, coaches, sponsors or fans of city, church, industrial or travel league teams and leagues are invited to attend the event.

There is no cost to attend the reunion, however, guests are requested to bring in covered food dishes and/or snacks and drinks. Bottled water will be provided.

The Garden House will feature numerous pictures of teams and players from the glory days of what was once the most popular sport in the area.

A memorial board will also be featured to remember many of the former players that have passed on.
