Taylor Men’s Soccer ID Camp

The Taylor University men’s soccer program will host an ID Camp on Monday, Nov. 12 from 5 to 9 p.m. The one-day camp is open for boys in grades 9-12 and costs $89 per individual.

Online registration and payment for the camp is available until Nov. 11. Participants will receive quality soccer instruction and training with the TU men’s soccer coaching staff and players and will also receive a t-shirt. Parents and players will have the chance afterwards to talk with head coach Gary Ross about the college recruiting process.

Camp schedule: 4:30 to 5 p.m. - Registration (Kesler Student Activities Center – North Lobby). 5 to 5:45 p.m. - Technical Session. 6 to 7 p.m. - 4 vs. 4 Games. 7 to 7:30 p.m. - Recruiting and College Choice Information Meeting with Coach Ross. 7:30 to 9 p.m. - 11 vs. 11 All-Star Game. Oak Hill fall tickets, all-sports passes

Oak Hill athletic passes are on sale in the high school office weekdays from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Tickets can also be purchased online at www.ohathletics.com.

Passes that are bought online can be picked up at the high school office or will be mailed. Prices for Golden Eagle All-Sports Passes: Adults-$80, Students-$60, Senior Citizens (60 and over)-$60.

A Golden Eagle Family Pass (immediate family only; parent(s) and school age (K-12) children) is being offered for $275.

All Sports Passes are good for all home high school events with the exception of Grant 4, CIC, and IHSAA events. A reserved boys’ basketball season ticket will be issued with no additional cost to any “All Sports Pass” holder.

A ten event pass (good for 1 admittance for any HS or JH athletic event with the exception of Grant 4, CIC, or IHSAA events) is also available: Adult-$42, Student-$36 and Senior Citizen-$36 General Admission/At the Gate Prices: Varsity Sports-Football, Soccer, Volleyball: All tickets at the gate are $5, JV/Freshmen/Jr. High events are $4 at the gate.

Marion football tickets, Giant Passes

Season tickets for Marion’s upcoming 2018 season, along with all-sport Giant Passes are on sale from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. weekdays in the Marion High School athletic department office. 

Tickets and Giant Passes may also be purchased at the scrimmage against Eastbrook on Friday and the home-opening game against Huntington North on Aug. 17. Cash or check only at these two events.

All Marion Community School Students in grades seven through 12 may attend all regular season home sporting events for free with valid MCS ID, excluding IHSAA post-season events, conference tournaments or scrimmages.

The Giant Pass allows entry into all regular season home events for all sports for the entire year. (Note: IHSAA post-season events, conference tournaments and the boys football and basketball scrimmages are sold separately. Basketball season tickets are included with Giant Passes and will be distributed at a later date.

Giant Pass prices: Family (Immediate Family Only)-$200, Adult-$85, Senior (60+ yrs.)-$75, Student (6th grade and under)-$20. Students must present valid MCS ID at time of purchase and game admission.

A football season ticket for the Giants four home games is $15. Boys basketball (12 games including the Marion Classic) will be $55 and a girls basketball season ticket (11 games) will be $50 and go on sale at a later date.

Legends of the Club dinner and auction

The Grant County Boys and Girls Club will host its annual Legends of the Club Dinner and Auction on August 23 at 6 p.m. at Roseburg Events Center.

Featured speaker for the event is Bill Severns, professional baseball player, coach and author of “Keepers of the Sandlot” and “Donuts, Diamonds and Dreams.”

Tickets for the dinner are $75.

The event is also in need of sponsors and has three different levels of sponsorship: Event Sponsor is $2,500 and reserves a table for six with a Legend and guest, will be listed in all event marketing including event program, and eight drink tickets; Table Sponsor is $800 and reserves a table for six with a Legend and guest, will be listed in program and eight drink tickets; Marketing Sponsor is $200 and will be listed in event program.

Donation items for the online auction are also being accepted. To register for or donate to the auction, go to www.wedoauctions.net/legends. The online auction will go live approximately two weeks before the event.
