Duck Race today

Carey Services’ annual Duck Race is today at the Splash House. Gates open at 11 a.m. with the race beginning around 11:45 a.m. This year more cash prizes are available. They include $1,000, $500, $300, $200, and $100. Several ducks also will be drawn for additional prizes after the cash-winning ducks are determined. Winners do not need to be present at the race to win prizes. Proceeds support the client base of Carey Services.

Christland rummage sale

Christland United Methodist Church will have their annual rummage sale from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on June 30. Rain date is July 7. Spaces (10x10) are available for $10. Tables are not provided. If interested in purchasing a space, call 765 664 5844 and leave a message. Calls will be returned. The church is located at 721. E. Charles St., Marion.

Free luncheon for seniors

Sweetser Wesleyan Church is hosting a free lunch for all community seniors/retirees on Friday, June 29. The luncheon will be from noon to 1:30 p.m. Cheesy ham and hashbrown casserole, bread, peas, broccoli salad, fruit cobblers, and ice cream will be served. This month’s luncheon will feature an “antique roadshow.” Attendees are encouraged to bring an antique or collectible item for display during the luncheon.

Keaton Family reunion

The Keaton Family will celebrate its 50th reunion June 23. It will be held at Upland Park at the community building. Doors open at 10:30 a.m. Lunch begins at noon.
