Marion-Mississinewa football tickets

Marion and Mississinewa High Schools are pre-selling tickets for Friday’s Class 4A Sectional 20 championship football game between the Giants and Indians at Marion.

All tickets are $6.

Marion is selling tickets today and Thursday from 9 a.m. to noon and 2 to 4 p.m. as well as from 9 a.m. to noon on Friday from the athletic office. Enter through Gate 10 of Bill Green Arena.

Mississinewa is selling tickets today and Thursday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. and from 8 a.m. to noon on Friday from the high school office. 

Gates at Dick Lootens Stadium open at 5:30 p.m. on Friday for the 7 p.m. kickoff.

Taylor hosting free Community Athletic Clinic Saturday

The Taylor University Athletic Department is hosting its annual free Fall Community Athletic Clinic on Saturday in the Kesler Student Activities Center.

The Athletic Clinic is open to elementary students grades K-6th and will give students a chance to interact with the Taylor track and field, basketball, baseball and softball athletes while learning how to play the relative sport. This is a great opportunity for students to stay active, learn some new things, and have fun with college athletes.

Registration and check-in starts at 9:30 a.m. and the clinic win be conducted from 10 a.m. until noon. Participants will receive free admission to the Taylor Football game following the clinic. Visit taylortrojans.com to pre-register and complete a mandatory waiver form. Each student must bring a complete waiver form to registration.

Oak Hill fall sports awards program

Oak Hill’s Athletic Department will be hosting its Fall Sports Awards Program on Thursday, November 14 at 7 p.m. in the high school Lecture Area.

Athletes and managers in football, soccer, volleyball, girls’ golf, cross country, and cheerleading are expected to attend. Friends, family and Golden Eagle fans are also invited.

Marion boys basketball tickets

Marion boys basketball returning season ticket holders may purchase tickets for the upcoming season starting today and running through Friday, Nov. 15 in the Marion High School Athletic Office. In order to keep the same seats, tickets must be purchased by Nov. 15.

Remaining tickets will be sold starting Monday, Nov. 18 through Friday, Nov. 22.

The Marion High School Athletic Office is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to noon and 2 to 4 p.m. People wanting to purchase tickets should enter through Gate 10 of Bill Green Athletic Arena. 

Season tickets are $66 for 12 home games, including the Marion Classic. Tickets for the Turn Back the Clock Night scrimmage at the YMCA on Wednesday, Nov. 20, must be purchased separately for $6 apiece.

Giant Pass holders need to pick up tickets at the Marion High School Athletic Office by displaying their Giant Pass. Parking Passes are available for $25, while they last.

Marion Community School students, grades 7-12, are admitted free to home games with a valid MCS Student ID.

Oak Hill winter sports tickets

Tickets for the upcoming Oak Hill Winter Athletic Season are on sale in the high school office weekdays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Previous reserved boys basketball seat holders may renew their seat from last year until Nov. 15, seats not renewed by Nov. 15 will be available to the public. New season ticket holders may reserve their boys basketball seats starting Nov. 18.

Winter Season Ticket Prices: 10 Event Pass (good for any event): Adult: $42, Student/Senior $36; High School All-Sports passes (good for winter and spring events): Adult - $60, Senior - $45, Student - $45. 

General admission to all events involving Central Indiana Conference high schools is $6 starting with the 2019-2020 winter seasons. Admission to Oak Hill Junior High events will remain at $4.

Taylor softball hosting November clinics

The Taylor softball program will host clinics on Sunday Nov. 10 and Nov. 17, open to girls 13 through 18 years of age.

Cost to attend $60 for one session or $100 to attend both. Each camp will run from noon through 3 p.m. inside the Kesler Student Activities Center and will include close interaction with Taylor coaches and players.

Campers will learn a variety of drills and participate in a series of skills-assessment drills. Individuals are asked to bring their own equipment and to dress in proper attire to practice in the indoor facility. All pitchers are asked to bring their own catcher.
