William 'Bill' E. Mauller July 24, 1944 - Oct. 6, 2019

William “Bill” E. Mauller, 75, Jonesboro, passed away peacefully in his home at 10:10 a.m. on Sunday, October 6, 2019. He was born in Marion on Monday, July 24, 1944, to the late William and Esther (Buckaloo) Mauller. As a teenager, he was adopted into the family of Charles and Betty Mauller.

Bill graduated from Van Buren High School in 1962. On August 5, 1995, he married Kathy A. Glass, and they shared 19 years together before preceding him in death on November 12, 2014. Bill was the owner/operator of Twin City Motors for 29 years. He attended Maple Run Friends Church and was a member of Gas City Moose Lodge, Rodmaster’s Car Club, and Fairmount American Legion Post 85. He loved going to car shows, and he also supported animal abuse centers.

Survivors include his daughters, Donna (Rod) Boatwright of Marion and Tonya (Randy) Smith of Upland; son, Brian (Lisa) Mauller of Swayzee; granddaughters, Sarah (Ryan) McDaniel of Marion, Jessica (Scott) Justice of Upland, and Tiffany (Austin) Rausch of Gas City; grandsons, Nathan (Mandi) Smith of Upland, Aaron Smith of Upland, and Corry (Merideth) Boatwright; great-grandsons, Cameron (Hannah) Yeakle of Marion, Austin (Gracie) Yeakle of Upland, Micah Smith, D’Angelo Jones, and Hunter Jones; great-granddaughters, Brooklyn Rausch, Riley Smith, and Adrionna Justice; half-brothers, William Larry (Marsha) Payne and Jerry (Marsha) Dennisie; and half-sister, Mary Ann (Jessie) Parrie.

In addition to his parents, adoptive parents, and wife, Bill was also preceded by his brother, Fred Mauller, and his sister, Pam Campbell.

The family will receive visitors from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursday, October 10, 2019, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, Storey Chapel, 400 E. Main St., Gas City, IN.

Immediately following the time of visitation, a service to celebrate Bill’s life will begin at 1 p.m. with Pastor John Key officiating. Burial will take place at Riverside Cemetery.
