Dominga G. Sanchez Dec. 20, 1934 - Aug. 30, 2019

Dominga G. Sanchez, 84, Warren, passed away at 4:20 pm on Friday, August 30, 2019, at Aperion Care in Marion. She was born in Laredo, Texas, on Thursday, December 20, 1934, to the late Zeferino and Lucinda (Collaso) Sanchez. She was married to Roberto Sanchez, who preceded her in death.

Dominga graduated from Martin High School in Laredo, Texas, and worked in the laundry room for five years at Marion General Hospital. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church, Gas City. She was always ready for adventure, fishing, hunting, and gardening. Her family always came first, and she also loved her dogs very much.

Survivors include her two daughters, Maria (Richard) Eisenhut of Bloomingdale, IL, and Minerva (Steven) Sanchez-Brasher of Warren; son, Roberto (Lella) Sanchez, Jr., of Marion; four granddaughters, Alma (Joshua) Dvorak, Anita (Ryan) Rivera, Lella Faye (Matthew) Sadnavitch, and Lana (Robert) Sanchez; six grandsons, Roberto (Evangelia) Sanchez, III, Jason (Chuan Pang) Sanchez, Jonathon (Kat Wine) Eisenhut, Joshua (Elizabeth) Sanchez, Joseph (Amber Emken) Eisenhut, and Jarod Sanchez; fourteen great-granddaughters, Alana (Cody) Smith, Adoracion Dvorak, Alyssa Dvorak, Camille Sanchez, Trinity Condosta, Isabel Sanchez, Mia Sanchez, Gwendolyn Rivera, Lily Sanchez, Willow Sadnavitch, Charlotte Eisenhut, Piper Eisenhut, Annemarie Sanchez, and Lilah Mullins; ten great-grandsons, Roberto Sanchez, Roberto Sanchez, Austin Rivera, Alexander Sanchez, Xavier Sanchez, Joshua Sanchez, Antonio Parish, Alejandro Sanchez, Tobias Eisenhut, and Henry Mullins; great-great-granddaughter, Anaxandra Smith; great-great-grandson, Koden Smith; sister, Maria Garcia; and brother, Zeferino Garcia, Jr..

She was also preceded in death by five sisters, Armandina Olvera, Antonia Rangel, Juanita Garcia, Santos Garcia, and Berta Garcia, and her step-mother, Francisca Garcia.

The family will receive visitors from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Friday, September 6, 2019, at Holy Family Catholic Church, 325 E. N. A St., Gas City, IN.

Immediately following the time of visitation, a service to celebrate Dominga’s life will begin at 1:00 pm. Burial will take place at Gardens of Memory in Marion.

Arrangements are entrusted to Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, Storey Chapel, 400 E. Main St., Gas City, IN.
