Allen James 'Jim' Pattison Jan. 15, 1934 - May 10, 2019

Allen James “Jim” Pattison went to be with the Lord May 10, 2019. He was 85.

He was born to Harley and Bertha Pattison on Jan. 15, 1934 in Marion, Indiana.

Jim is survived by his wife of 66 years, Sue (Smith), his daughters Angela Kline, Vicki Khan, son-in-law Charles Khan, and daughter Janell Pattison, his younger brother David and his wife Lana Pattison. He is predeceased by his son James Allen and older brothers Ronald and John. He had five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

He grew up in Gas City and went to Mississinewa High School. He was a Brickmason by trade and at the young age of 21, designed and built his first home in Jonesboro where he raised his family. He moved his family to central Florida in 1969 where he helped build Disney World.

Jim was very involved in the Orange County, Florida Prison/Jail Ministry. He even had his own jail cell – as his office – for 27 years. He gave gallons and gallons of blood to the Red Cross. He traveled to various countries on mission work building churches.

After 49 years in Orlando, he and his wife moved to Jacksonville, Florida to be closer to their daughter for caregiving and resided there for two years before his passing.

He will be remembered for his big heart. His love for Jesus and sharing the gospel. He loved his wife, children and grandchildren and great-grandchildren to the moon and back.
