Salvation Army Opens Doors at Wabash Store

Posted: Saturday, August 17, 2013 4:00 am

The Salvation Army held a formal ribbon-cutting ceremony to welcome visitors from around the region to its new retail store in the Wabash Crossing shopping center on Friday.

The event welcomed not only hundreds of customers to the Christian-based charitable organization, but also prominent members of the Wabash community and the Salvation Army. Among those welcoming the business, situated between the Great Wall Restaurant and Walmart, were Mayor Robert Vanlandingham, Chamber of Commerce President Kim Pinkerton and Salvation Army Maj. Graham Allan, who is also the central territory leader of the Adult Rehabilitation Centers (ARC) Command.
