Annual Lincoln Pilgrimage Linkin' Scouts with the Past

Posted: Wednesday, January 29, 2014 10:45 pm

The 74th annual Lincoln Pilgrimage will take place Feb. 8-9 in Wabash, offering Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts the chance to experience life during Civil War times.

Organized by the Boy Scouts of America Sagamore Council, Scouts will have the opportunity to camp at the Honeywell Scout Cabin, embark on a scavenger hunt around Wabash and try their hand at leather working, rope making and other activities in the Honeywell Center’s Legacy Hall. An Abraham Lincoln re-enactor will also be on hand to give a speech and pose for photos with Scouts.
