Madison-Grantto host dinner

The Madison-Grant softball program will host a chicken noodle dinner Jan. 26 in the high school cafeteria prior to the boys basketball game between the Argylls and Oak Hill.

Dinner will be served from 4:30 to 7 p.m. and will be dine in, however carryout meals will also be available.

Cost is $8, with $1 off cards available at local businesses. Children five-and-under eat free. 

YMCA has pickleball

Pickleball, the fastest growing sport in America, is now available at the Grant County Family YMCA.

The activity will run from now until March 29.

For the rest of January cost is $25 for members, $45 for non-members. There is a $5 one night drop in to play. The $25 or $45 allows play Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6 to 9 p.m.

Taylor baseball to host youth camp

The Taylor University baseball program will host a youth baseball camp on Sunday, February 4 from 1 to 4 p.m.  open to students in first through eighth grades.

The camp will be held inside TU’s Kesler Student Activities Center and all instruction will come from Taylor University coaches and players. Campers will participate in various drills and competitions covering the skills of hitting and pitching.

The cost for the one-day camp is $25 per camper. No early registration is required and all payments will be taken at the door on.

Date for Taylor softball clinic changed

The Taylor softball program has moved its one-day clinic to February 11.

To register for the clinic visit the TU Camps page at athletics.taylor.edu/f/camps.php for online registration. In addition to the online registration, participants may also register at the door.
