Marion Police Department

12:42 a.m., Monday, 1400 block of East Bryant Court, battery. A male battered two women.

6:36 a.m. Monday, 300 block of South Branson Street, theft. A man reported his license plate stolen.

12:07 p.m., Monday, Fourth and Adams streets, suspicious person. A man was arrested for public intoxication and disorderly conduct.

2:48 p.m., Monday, 3800 block of South Western Avenue, theft. A woman was arrested for theft.

3:34 p.m., Monday, 1800 block of Jeffras Avenue, overdose. A man overdosed on heroin in the presence of a child.

3:40 p.m., Monday, 3200 block of South Western Avenue, criminal mischief. A report was made for graffiti in a men’s bathroom.

5:20 p.m., Monday, 200 block of North Tippy Ditch Drive, accident leaving the scene. A woman was involved in a two semi accident. The second semi truck fled the scene.

11:37 p.m., Monday, 26th and Washington street, traffic stop. A man was arrested for possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia during a traffic stop.

Grant County Sheriff’s Department

Monday, sex offense. A detective was dispatched to speak with a juvenile who reported a possible molestation by another juvenile.

Monday, 3300 block of South Harvey Street, child abuse. A man reported he suspected abuse of his dependent by the juvenile’s mother’s boyfriend.

Monday, 200 block of West Washington Street, Fairmount, custody dispute. A couple had a dispute over taking a child across state lines.

Arrests

Curtis Clayton Lloyd, 55, last known address 1502 W. Spencer Ave. Apt. C, resisting law enforcement, intimidation, disorderly conduct, public intoxication. He is being held in the Grant County Jail on a $605 bond.

Michael Thomas Miller, 25, last known address 2674 E. Bradford Pike, disorderly conduct, resisting law enforcement. He was released from the Grant County Jail on a $405 cash bond.

Roy L Hatfield, 55, Homeless, parole violation. He is being held in the Grant County Jail without bond.
